Artist Of The Week: City & Colour
Dallas Green actually finds time to visit the Last.fm Discover studio. Between working with Alexisonfire and his “softer” side project City & Colour, we were happy and honored that he took time out to perform and chat with us
Dallas Green is a workaholic, but that’s OK, I can relate. So far to date, Dallas has given us two brilliant City & Colour albums..

The most recent one, “Bring Me Your Love” was released in February of 2008. It’s predescessor was released in 2005. Dallas assured us that he will stay on his 3 year pace and have the third album ready on early 2011.
His session at the Last.fm Discover studio was stunning, which included a breath-taking version of Son House’s “Grinnin’ In Your Face.” Check out the video and photos from this session.

Dallas Green is an amazing person, he inspires so many, and is truly talented.
I love his lyrics and all of his music, both City and Colour and Alexisonfire.

i really have no other words than ‘my soul understands this’. and it is not macbre’… there is a healthy, deeper sense to the lyric and feel of the music…
